This nifty gadget sits in the pot with your eggs and changes colour as the eggs cook; so you know what's going on inside those shells.

Graduated scales show when eggs are soft, medium or hard by sensing heat instead of time. The sensor accounts for the number of eggs, the amount of water, even the altitude at which your eggs are being cooked.

We used to sell lots of these via 20th Century REMO (Darlinghurst Store & Catalogue); and many of us are still using them. As far as gadgets go, this is a good one.

My four year old daughter is VERY particular about how her eggs are done ( gosh, can't wait for those teenage years!)No more drama since using the egg perfect timer - eggs just soft enough to dip the toast soldiers into without any of the horror of uncooked eggwhite! | It works, it works!
My wife likes her eggs boiled harder than Condaleeza Rice and drier than a John Howard speech. I like them soft and goooey; consequently I count my 4 minutes quickly and she counts very slowly. No more. The Eggtimer has restored peace to the kitchen and moisture to my eggs. Brilliant!
