I didn't know she was a real librarian until I had purchased the Nancy Pearl Librarian: Deluxe model from you guys. Next day in my local paper I saw she was giving a free lecture in my hometown Brisbane the following weekend,so I took the doll in the box and she signed it for me.Talk about synchronicity. | For librarians and other authoritarian types?
This action figure was purchased for me as a staff "Secret Santa" gift, but it was so popular, it was never given to me! My colleague got too much value doing show and tell with Ms Pearl for his friends, that he decided he needed her more than I did! These action figures are also great teaching aides: bought my husband both the Poe and Shakespeare versions which his students get a kick out of. They accompany him when he does his recitations of "The Raven" and any number of Willy's soliloquys he has committed to memory. A hoot!
