Designed for Australia Day 2007 and addressing a debate regarding the use and/or abuse of the Australian Flag.
The organisers of the annual Big Day Out Australia Day concert, while falling short of banning the flag, decided to discourage its presence due to recent abuses by uglier jingoisitic elements of our society. The policy generated lots of outrage. The government is still talking about banning the banning. So the flag, as well as being increasingly anachronistic (and not all that appropriate in our opinion), is also suffering a branding crisis!

Very REMO. I love my 'Made in' and 'AUSTRALIAN' T shirts I picked up in the lucky dip (always a reliable source of electic but well made shirts). But I've felt a little uncomfortable wearing the AUSTRALIAN (especially as it's black) since wedge politics and the Cronulla disgrace. Will wear this with pride instead and relegate the other one to gardening.

I rec'd the email on Wednesday afternoon and followed the instructions for purchasing the Be Nice t's for my kids. I had a wee chuckle to myself when I read that the articles would be upgraded to express post to ensure delivery in time for Australia Day. Shame on me for doubting the REMO standards of service.
