Love Delhi = NEW

Fiona Caulfield was born in Australia, has lived in the UK, Canada and the USA, and is now resident in India. She is an avid traveller and explorer. A self-confessed "luxury vagabond," she has a discerning eye for the singular experiences that set a destination apart, making it a place with which you might fall in LOVE.

In 2004, after a long and impressive career as a futurist and brand strategist, she moved to India and launched Love Travel Guides. Her guides are about falling in love with all the cities in the world and the places you can visit in them. Fiona feels (and we agree) that it is time to fall in love with cities other than London, New York and Paris; and indeed, time to fall in love with the cities that are outside of the west.

Love Bangalore & Love Mumbai, the first two books in the series, are indeed chock full of authentic Balgalorean and Mumbai experiences, and are clearly also labours of love. That attention to detail extends to the presentation. The books (108 pages for Bangalore and 160 for Mumbai) are printed on handmade paper and crafted with care by local designers and crafts people. The hand-woven silk covers were developed in partnership with Sonam Dubal, the Delhi-based fashion designer; the bookmarks were hand-stitched by local Bangalorean designer, Chandrashekar; and the rich red and blue Mysore silk bags that the books come in are by Sonali Sattar of Hidden Harmony. Printed on eco-friendly & non-bleached handmade paper, with hand-printed Tibetan raw silk cover. Presented in a handmade silk pouch, the entire production process is child-labour free.

The third book in the Love Travel Guides India series, Love Delhi (150 pages) is a perfect for anyone wanting an introduction to the most authentic experiences of this fascinating city – or as a gift. This highly-curated guide to Delhi is designed for the discerning traveller who wants authenticity in style. 'Love Delhi' sources 'love stories' from in-the-know locals, including chefs, artists, designers, architects, foreign correspondents and taxi drivers—detailing the best experiences in Delhi.
