About Us | Our Head Your HeadThis is one of our registered trademarks. It represents US and it represents YOU. It reminds us that you need and desire certain things: quality foods, clothing, stationery, homewares, skincare, jewellery, other personal items & unique gifts. You also need to be informed, amused and entertained. It drives everything we do. Design Origin: In 1989 New York based designer Douglas Riccardi (then working at the M&Co. Design Group) developed a T shirt for us based on a Polaroid of the profile of Remo Giuffre. The original phrenology-head-inspired T Shirt design was silk screened with the Seven Deadly Sins on one side and the Seven Heavenly Virtues on the other. (In contrast to many of the T Shirts that Douglas designed for us (e.g. Camp REMO), this one was moderately commercial!) Then in 1990 we had the idea to replace the old words with these new departmental words to create this enduring symbol for our General Store. |
Anonymous I still have my einstein, cuisenaire and body parts t-shirts. I love telling people about where I got them from, I am always stopped by a curious passer-by whenever I wear my body parts t-shirt.
