Q: Where do Lucky Dip T Shirts come from?

A: We print to order, and guarantee absolute CustOMER Delight. Therefore, we often exchange sizes and get left with produced stock in the rejected size. Hence the periodic build up of "Lucky Dip" T Shirt stock. We also end up with leftover sizes in older styles (now all replaced with our Organic Australian REMO T Shirt. The T Shirts are usually 100% perfect. If there's a fault, it tends to be minor e.g. small spot, slightly crooked transfer, tiny hole.

Please note:

1. You can order the size you want and whether you want Short Sleeves ("SS") or Long Sleeves ("LS"); but the design, style and colour you receive will be RANDOM. It will depend on what we have available in your size.

2. Lucky Dip Sales are final. No returns or exchanges.

I bought lucky dip tshirts for my 2 teenagers. I thought if they didn't like the design I could use them as gifts...they loved them. My husband asked where was his?? That's the next order.

Tried my luck with the "extra-lucky" dip and got a couple of winners, including an Australia "HOME" tee, (perfect with Australia Day around the corner) and this bizzare gem; an ill-centred "Remo TV" tee, with the transfer located nicely over my right breast - classic!

| Cheap at half the price!
I tried the lucky dip and thought 'How bad can it be?". Not bad at all! In fact, I note that two of my lucky dip Ts are still for sale at the regular price. How lucky is that?!

| Plain black long & short sleeve cotton t-shirt
I purchased several of these shirts to wear when I went OS last year. I decided if I had black I wouldn't have to worry so much about the washing. They were excellent for what I wanted them for. Just rinsed them out and didn't iron them. I recommend them if you are planning to travel. Mary

| It seems I'm the sole unlucky dipper!!
Excited by the prospect of getting three great REMO designs I ordered that number of Lucky Dips. One was okay (the carrot and bunny) but both of the others were left over promotional giveaways from the annual TED (Technology Entertainment & Design) conference. Two near identical "tradeshow" designs (one featuring a website address) which are meaningless all but a small few - including me. As my wife pointed out, some REMO employee must have been aware that they were giving me 2 dud designs out of 3 ordered. Highly disappointing!!

How I loved wandering aimlessly through the Remo store! I could spend hours there, and often did. There were so many 'new' treasures to discover and so many 'old' favourites to take me back to my childhood...the fortune-telling fish, bo-peeps, the TV test-pattern, cuisinaire rods, oh-so-tasty Perkins' Paste... The best thing was the old photo booth...it produced a strip of four different b&w photos, so you could change your expression in between each shot. It became a favourite hangout for me and my friends - we'd get a caffeine rush on at the Remo cafe then pile into the booth and waste all our tip money taking silly photos! Much to my dismay, the Remo General Store closed down and worse, I lost most of my photos in a house fire. But oh happy day, Remo is back trading online, so I can make myself a strong coffee and browse through the endless "shelves" of quirky products, just like I did back then. No photo booth though... One of the things I purchased first time around was a Peacock Pocket Warmer, an ingenious little metal case that burns Zippo fluid without an actual flame (what the hell is "catalysis"?). Slip it into a pocket and it will keep you toasty warm for up to 24 hours!! Magic! I had two of these wondrous things when I travelled and they were at times my only comfort when money was tight and I experienced a kind of cold that someone from Australia can never get used to. They vanished somewhere along the way - hopefully someone is still using them out there - and so as the temperature has dropped recently, I purchased two more from the new Remo incarnation. Wow! I'd forgotten how good they were! Now when I stand outside work in the freezing cold winter winds checking IDs, I will be comfy and cozy with my Peacock Pocket Warmers catalysing away!!
