The accompanying brochure starts out kinda corny:

"Consider the problem of a woman who needs glasses for applying eye makeup. WITHOUT her glasses she can't see what she is doing, and WITH her glasses, she can't do what she is seeing!"

... but the product itself is kinda great.

Magic Focus "big eyes" mirrors are optically perfect acrylic mirrors. They are very strong (5X magnification) and distortion-free. They allow you to see things on your face up BIG (and in frightening detail) without the need to wear glasses or contact lenses.

Developed in 1971 by an eye doctor in Kansas in response to his patients' needs. Yankee ingenuity at its best.

Great for: detailed facial scrutiny, inserting contact lenses, stray facial hairs, ingrown hairs, observing acne, etc.
