It's nice when things come together quickly.
On the night of Wednesday 14 December 2005 we brainstormed the idea for this Australia THINK design with Sydney CustOMER and friend Julia Champtaloup.
The very next morning we received word from the office of Peter Garrett MP, Federal Member for Kingsford Smith, now Minister, but at the time the Shadow Parliamentary Secretary for Reconciliation & the Arts (and ex Midnight Oil front man!) that they wanted to run with our brand new Australia THINK idea for the front of a "Wave of Respect" T Shirt that was required for a racial harmony peace walk at Coogee Beach the next morning.
By Thursday evening the design was done (thanks Aivi!) and the first 50 shirts were on their way to the event organisers.
On Friday our message shirts were put to good use at the event ... as the various news services show. See for example this piece from news.com.au.
We received a number of emails from visually savvy CustOMERs who saw these photos concerned that our distinctive REMO look'n'feel had been copied. So, we were pleased to be able to report back that we had actually been involved with this one!
