Humor and surprise are two of designer Tibor Kalman's hallmarks.

These witty umbrellas from the Museum of Modern Art in New York ("MoMA"), with their eternally cheerful blue sky linings are known and enjoyed throughout the world.

Designed by EFM for MoMA with the cloud design by Tibor.

Black nylon exterior and lining.

The regular version has a wooden shaft and handle. The collapsible umbrella has an automatic open-close mechanism.

Size: 38" span

The version for kids has a cheerful cloud print and the MoMA logo printed on its Velcro strap. It features plastic safety tips and a special kid-friendly safety frame. Doubles as a parasol for grown ups!

| sunshine on a cloudy day
I've been hanging out for one of these gorgeous umbrellas for so long; I finally succumbed and ordered one. It's better than I hoped; style and substance combine to make a brolly I hope I hang onto for the rest of my life. I've spent so much money on shitty umbrellas over the years, I'd forgotten how a good quality one feels. And that blue sky... a delight

Just received this as a Christmas present. Very nice construction - this one won't be turning inside out in a strong, gusty wind. But the real perfection of the umbrella is the inside blue sky. Raindrops may be falling,... but that doesn't mean everything's not blue sky perfection :-)
