Jam jars store jam. The Sun Jar collects and stores sunshine so that you can use it at night!

Made with a traditional Mason jar and high tech energy efficient lighting. Inside the jar are a highly efficient solar cell, rechargeable battery and low energy LED lamps. When the jar is placed in sunlight the solar cell creates an electrical current that charges the battery over a few hours. This energy is then used at night to power the three LED lamps inside the jar.

Dimensions: 100mm x 100mm x 160mm

Features:
+ Needs direct sunlight to work
+ Automatic operation at night
+ Jar is water-tight so can be used outside

Ginny Fisher has given this product a 5 star rating | Just like the real thing
The giver of life and a joy to all. How wonderful to capture it in a jar. It also reduces one's carbon foot print.

Chloe Brookes-Kenworthy has given this product a 5 star rating | One of my favorite things
I just love my sun jar. I put it in my bathroom and it charges up each day on the sill and then glows most of the night so if I get up to go I don't trip over the dog. Pricey but priceless.

SLD

SLD has given this product a 5 star rating | The Sun Jar's a winner
This gift absolutely delighted my dear friend but even better, her little girl thinks Mummy's magical because she catches a bit of sun everyday and puts it in a jar. That's some serious cred.

I was only 17 when my Aunt first took me to Remo - I was a fan from the first moment I set foot thru the Oxford Street doors, had my first ever Latte in the Cafe, and was a regular customer untill the doors closed. I have still some old Remo mail catalogues that I have fondly poured over from time to time - with absolute dispair as to how my favourite shop could possible have disappeared, along with so many things precious to my growing up!? The style, the sense of humor and the atmosphere hae never been repeated since, and I look forward to falling back into the old snug fit that Remo's always was. I still have B&W photo's in my filofax from the old photo booth of dear friends and looking back at them not only reminds me of high school and uni, but of old friendships which is also how I remember Remo's....my desk at work now 10 years on still carries the (now a little tatty) Miracle fourtune teller fish, Eternity postcard, and the Imagination.....Einstein postcard, which inspires me almost daily....whilst my fridge has the great Cole Joy postcard ..You're the Top...a great start to the morning!? Welcome back and Thanks for comming!?
