| The best thing since sliced bread!!!! I bought one of these with very high expectations and every one has been met and then exceeded... How simple easy and wonderfully warm... Everyone thinks I have a very warm phone (in a tartan bag) but no, it's my trusty peacock pocket warmer!!!!! Probably wouldn't have used one when I lived in Skidney but down here in the nether reaches of NSW it is a must!!!

| I could not believe the strength & duration Being a competitive outdoor bowls freak, I play in all seasons. Until I got hold of the Peacock Handwarmer, my winter games were mediocre due to lack of feeling in my hand/fingers on those cold 5-10 degree Sydney mornings. That's now changed. I could not believe the strength & duration of heat from the handwarmer: I share it with my team mates! What a difference it makes to the quality of my winter bowls. Wait till I get to Bathurst! Thanks, Remo. And your generous customer service makes me an enthusiatic apostle for REMO

| A little piece of magic These things are incredible and intriguing. I have two so that one hand doesn't get jealous of the other. Well worth the investment...now who can tell me what "catalysis" is?

| IT WORKS what can I say...I bought this in december 2004, and have been waiting for the days & nights to get colder so I could "fire" it up... what else can I say except it's beautiful and very comforting to hold when the mercury starts to plummet..

| Passed from hand to hand Moving to Switzerland was my welcome excuse to buy a pocket warmer... something I had always rather fancied (though I don't know why!). As it is, it hasn't been used all that much, until now.
Two friends of mine are security guards and spend their work day standing outside an office building. The top temperature today is going to be -1, which should give you an idea of their current working environment. How could I leave them to freeze?
So the pocket warmer came out of the box and into their pockets. They pass it back and forth between them. Just having something that isn't using up their own body energy to be warm (however small) seems to make a huge difference to both their temperature and mood. And it is so economical too; it just keeps going and going. What an invention.

| The present for fathers day I bought my dad one of these many years ago and he loves it. It really works and great for those who are advancing in age (sorry dad!) and need extra warmth in the fingers. Great too for all of us during those mornings in colder climate (try NYC in January!)

| who knew peacocks had pockets? Ok that's just a blatant atempt to win the competition but they are the quintessence of elegant functionality

| design + function = I want one! I *always* wanted one of these spunky pocket warmers. drooling at them in the store, I could never quite manage to afford something that seemed so practical and yet deliciously frivolous! but the time may now be nigh...

| Musical Instrument For some reason my little one though this was a musical instrument like a harmonica. Hopefully it still works! A beaut concept brought to us by the home of crazy ideas - Japan.

| Warm Hands = Warm Heart! This little dude travelled along most of the Trans-Siberian railway during winter (-6C). He only stopped a few times (when it was just too freezing) but then would perk up again. He was the perfect companion!

| Maybe it's me Does anyone else find these insanely hard to get going & prone to self-extinguish? Also pretty smelly, unless lighter fuel is your thing. Really thought this would be good: great idea, nice to look at & hold, but alas...

I love this site, the products, the concept, its evolution ... and I found it through a friend who was wearing a Remo TV t-shirt. It took me back - so nice to see something so contemporary and sentimental at the same time. A few boxes of Splayds and some Moleskines later, I have bought my own TV t-shirt, and have decked out hubby in a few as well (he is a Strong Silent Type after all).
