Stop! In the name of LOVE ...

Here's an idea from Brisbane based CustOMER Al James. First created in 2003, the Love Sign and its intended message just seem to become more and more pertinent with each passing day.

Al walked into our studio one day toting this large 600mm "LOVE" traffic sign. We captured the moment using a phone camera. Looky here! For us it was "love" at first sight.

Entitled "Stop! In the name of love ..." the LOVE Sign stems from Al's fascination with the iconography and vernacular of traffic signs. He refers to his creation as "a response to the madly litigious, antagonistic, terrorising, warmongering world we live in."

The signs themselves (what a great Valentine's Day or wedding gift) are manufactured to international traffic control specifications (with one obvious discrepancy) and feature an ultra-reflective finish. With a distant light in a dark room, they glow like new love.

We've sold these signs to well known Australian actors (Hi Cate!), global advertising agency CEOs (Hi Kevin!) ... and lots of regular love-struck CustOMERs too :)

Today, Love Signs can be found hanging in bedrooms and boardrooms from Noosa to New York.

Each 600mm diameter Love Sign is individually labelled and numbered on the back, and is ready for easy hanging. Mounted on 25mm rails, the sign hovers off the wall.
