Jam jars store jam. The Sun Jar collects and stores sunshine so that you can use it at night!

Made with a traditional Mason jar and high tech energy efficient lighting. Inside the jar are a highly efficient solar cell, rechargeable battery and low energy LED lamps. When the jar is placed in sunlight the solar cell creates an electrical current that charges the battery over a few hours. This energy is then used at night to power the three LED lamps inside the jar.

| One of my favorite things
I just love my sun jar. I put it in my bathroom and it charges up each day on the sill and then glows most of the night so if I get up to go I don't trip over the dog. Pricey but priceless.

| The sun shines out of my .........
Gave this to my two nieces and they love it. The glow from the jar is fantastic ...... just have to remember to put it outside to charge up!!

This gift absolutely delighted my dear friend but even better, her little girl thinks Mummy's magical because she catches a bit of sun everyday and puts it in a jar. That's some serious cred.

A visit to Remo on Oxford Street was the perfect way to deal with stressful uni days in the early 90's. I still have a photo with Santa from Christmas 1994. The photographer chased my then 12 year old brother around the shop until she could take the picture, the last one of the day!
